Former TROUBLE Frontman Launches BLACKFINGER
August 26, 2008Former TROUBLE singer Eric Wagner has launched a new Illinois-based rock/acoustic/psychadelic project called BLACKFINGER. A song called "All The Leaves Are Brown" is currently being streamed on the band's MySpace page.
Eric Wagner left TROUBLE in April 2008, citing his disdain for the touring life as the main reason for his departure.
"It is with my deepest regret that by mutual agreement that TROUBLE and I have parted ways effective immediately," he wrote in a statement.
"I love them very much and I wish them nothing but the best. At this moment in time I just can't handle touring anymore.
"All I want to do is write songs and work on my new project BLACKFINGER.
"I am sorry and I love you all."
As previously reported, Kory Clarke of WARRIOR SOUL has joined legendary Illinois doomsters TROUBLE as the group's new frontman.
Ken from Metalfanzine.net conducted an interview with Eric Wagner after TROUBLE's April 3, 2008 concert at Jigsaw in Parma, Ohio. Watch the 13-minute chat below.
